Purestone visited by an Angel

Having grown rapidly since formation, Purestone TFM has sought to accelerate this growth to increase market share and profitability in 2006 / 2007. As part of this strategy Purestone are delighted to announce the securing of venture capital from Business Angel Trevor Rolls. Rolls was a founder of leading IT solutions provider, Prime Business Solutions. Providing commercial leadership, Rolls led Prime through an exponential growth, resulting in Sunday Times Fast Track awards in 2002,2003 and 2004 plus recognition as Cisco Systems ‘European, Middle East and Africa Partner of the Year’. Having taken Prime to a turnover of £32m, Rolls successfully negotiated the acquisition of Prime to a conclusion when it was acquired for £28 million by the 2e2 Group in 2004. As part of his investment, Rolls will become a Non-Executive Board member of Purestone TFM Ltd.

Simon Butler, Founder & Managing Director of Purestone TFM said ‘At this stage in our development we recognise the importance of making the right decisions in growing in a profitable, controlled way. Trevor Rolls demonstrated the value he could add to Purestone from our very first discussions with him. He has been part of a rapidly growing business and brings the knowledge he acquired through that process to Purestone. When someone of Trevor’s pedigree comes to the table, you listen to what he says. I am delighted to welcome Trevor to our Board.’

Trevor Rolls said “When I initially met with Purestone it became clear to me that this is a unique and exciting proposition. Any company that has rapidly grown year on year must be doing many things right. My challenge is to help accelerate growth, build on all the good things about Purestone but make sure that it maintains its level of service and quality to clients. The Purestone team have built a solid business but there’s always room for improvement. It’s genuinely exciting stuff and I’m keen to get my teeth into the role and help Purestone achieve its growth expectations over the coming years.”
