We are delighted to announce that on October 15th at the BOSS (British Office Supplies & Services) Industry Awards Dinner, Office Depot and Viking Direct scooped two prestigious awards.

The awards (arguably the most high profile in the industry) are designed to highlight those companies who’ve performed to the highest standards across a range of different categories.  With 1,000’s of companies operating in this sector it is a competitive field.

Office Depot submitted its social media and online community platform, www.myofficeidea.com for the ‘Business Technology Award’.  Having won this category last year (with the help of Purestone) for www.yourenvironmentalguide.com it was a tall order to scoop the accolade once again.  However, www.myofficeidea.com, is a unique and worthy project, one that embraces the latest in online technology and more importantly provides an innovative and engaging customer environment.  Purestone played a fundamental part in shaping and delivering this project and are delighted for the Office Depot team who worked on the project that it’s received such plaudits!

The second award, for ‘Reseller Marketing Excellence’, was in direct recognition for Office Depot’s ‘Supplier Management Forum’ which it held at its Leicester HQ in March 2009.  Purestone again played its part in shaping all the e-communications strategy to support the event.
